Top 5 Fictional Food

hello everyone! so as you know, i love me some fictional works, especially the ones with great world building that is so detailed that they would have their own food in the fictional world that they set in that when you see the food, you're kinda wondering like how good of a food it is, but you know that you can't get it in real world or at least it won't taste as good as the food that's seen in the movie/tv show/described in the books, in fact that's the case with the food and drink that i'm gonna be mentioning here. the idea to rank fictional food came to me from watching Watcher's Top 5 Breakdown for fictional food on youtube, and i'm gonna do my own version of it. So let's start with number 5!

5. Willy Wonka's Chocolate River

i've always loved me some chocolate, especially milk chocolate. and i know that i can get an actual real life chocolate bar in the nearest supermarkets and then melt it on my own, but willy wonka's chocolate has always been so appealing to me, like the way that the camera in the movie shot the chocolate in the scene in which augustus(?), the first kid that got drown in the chocolate river, the way that they shot the chocolate river? it looks so appetizing, like i get why the boy wanted to drown himself in chocolate and get a taste of the chocolate river. hell, i would get as much as i could of the river.

4. Butterbeer

yes, again, i can get butterbeer in the universal studios but, i know that it won't taste as good as the ones that you can get in three broomsticks. besides, i don't have the money to go to the universal studios, so it's still gonna be somewhat fictional to me. just the idea of hanging out in three broomsticks, on a nice winter/autumn afternoon, while talking shit about your least favorite professor, or gushing about your crush from different house with your friends is a really warming idea. is this just another case of me wanting to live in the wizarding world and study at hogwarts? yeah, maybe, but i'm also very curious on how a glass of butterbeer tastes in the actual wizarding world.

3. Hot Pie's "Direwolf" bread

this delicacy is from the world of ice and fire, game of thrones to be exact. it's in the episode in which arya and gendry said farewells to their friend, hot pie (his name is actually hot pie, i'm not kidding), because he wanted to be an apprentice baker in The Inn in The Crossroads. what i remember from the scene is that, other than the actual bread itself, is when arya asked hot pie "oh what is this supposed to be?", then hot pie answered with "it's a direwolf, because you're a stark,", and then gendry with his always sarcastic self just responded with, "yes, yes it does,". yeah i know, it doesn't look that appetizing in this picture, but when arya visited hot pie again in season 6, the bread looks really good,

and i heard that the actor that played hot pie, opened a bakery and sells his iconic direwolf bread there. so maybe if you want a taste of it in real life, you can grab them in his bakery.

2. Krabby Patty

i feel like this is a classic fictional food. when you ask what's an example of fictional food, everyone will say it's krabby patty. essentially, krabby patty is just a burger, but the thing is we don't actually know what's in the patty or what's the secret formula that makes everyone who eats it like literally in love. i mean, take a look at squidward, a mostly grumpy character who hates everything and everyone. he just had a tiny little bite of the patty, and it was like he's seen the face of God. also every variation of krabby patty that we're familiar with, like pretty patties and jellyfish jam patty, they look really good and doesn't throw you off, at least on the first glance. so, if 6 year old me wanted to try it, then 23 year old me also wanted to try it.

1. Turkish Delight (with the hot chocolate as an honorable mention)

ah yes, the sweets, as the white witch said, that caused edmund pevensie's character development. i always wonder how turkish delight tastes as a child, is it that good that edmund decided to betray his siblings in order just to get more turkish delight? if i have it in real life, i'll probably just be like, "eh, it's okay,", but then again i'm very grateful that i don't live in a time of world war that made eating candy would be such a luxury, so i don't think i'll ever understand edmund's motive here, but i'm just curious, because the looks of the food, is really good, and edmund was eating it like how a food vlogger would review food, so, curious, just curious. there's an honorable mention though, the hot chocolate. i actually wanted to drink that hot chocolate so much because it just looks so tasty, warm, and it's served in a very beautiful goblet (i can't find the picture of the goblet or the hot chocolate, but just know that the goblet is so pretty). i live in a tropical country but i would love me some hot chocolate brewed by white witch herself.

that's it for this post. it's a little bit shorter, but it's a fun one. i'll see you on the next post!

Things I Noticed On Avatar : The Last Airbender After A Rewatch

Hello, Dhira here.  So, since it's been like almost 4 months of quarantine period, i got bored and rewatch the whole avatar : the last airbender (is gonna be referred as atla after this) like everyone else does, and there are some things that I didn't notice the first time I watched it, prob bc I was younger back then and as you can see on the title of this post, I'm gonna talk about it and divide it into 4 sections : Plot, Characters' arc +, Bending, Ships, and Memes. Let's just jump right in : 1. Plot Now, I've always known since the first time I watched the show, that atla has one of the best plot in all history of fictional writing. The world building has always been perfect in my opinion. Though there are a few more elements about the plot that I noticed after second time watching.  First of all, the time frame. I'd always thought that the show went for years, I mean it was on air for 3 years, but like the time that Aang took to learn each e

"okay, then what about the tables? do i need to add anything?", nanon asked him while showing his project table. blue pulled nanon's laptop closer to him to review the table. "no, i think it's good already, it shows all information that we need. maybe try to be a bit more descriptive withㅡ" "you didn't answer any of my texts yesterday and here you are," nanon flinched when he heard a familiar voice to his left. he looked to where the voice came from and ohm, his boyfriend for 2 years stood there. "i'm really truly sorry, i was bus

NANON nanon was adjusting his varsity jacket once more in front of the mirror in the family room when he saw his parents lounging in the sofa, watching a movie. "dad, pa, i'm leaving", he was about to take off to the garage when a voice stopped him. "where? and did you see the clock when you walked out of your room, it's almost 11!", new, his papa who already untangled himself from his husband's arms, now turned his back to look at his youngest son. "papa, i've told you about bright's new company's launching after party, earlier this week. everyone's gonna be there, and you've met him, both of you know him," nanon reasoned with his parents. bright was nanon's senior in college. they're in the same football club now and have a scheduled training/match session on monday nights and was in somewhat of a situationship with nanon not too long after nanon finished college. his parents like bright, but both nanon and bright
