Hey! It's been 3 months since I last posted something here. I have no excuse of my absence other than my skill as a procrastinator is really high and every writer's biggest enemy, writer's block. But, a few days ago, I came up with something brilliant. Praising my fictional crushes. I mean, it's a good thing. I like to talk about them with my friends, so why not talking about them in my blog? It's one of my favorite things to talk about and it's definitely very on brand.
So, to start it all off, I'm gonna talk about the man who started all these shenanigans, Mr. Edmund Pevensie himself.

The first time I saw him was, of course in the first movie, The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. He was one of those kids who were completely fed up with his siblings and don't want anything to do with them. He might came off rude and annoying. He literally joined "the dark side" just because of Turkish Delight.
And look at how greedy yet cute at the same time he was that made The White Witch giving him the "fucking hell" type of look.
Which remind me of a certain deleted scene in The Last Jedi. I can't really search the gif and put it here.
But for me he was just misunderstood (you'll see a recurring theme around this word if we're talking about my fictional crushes) and i want to hug him. He learned his lessons eventhough they still followed him in the future movies.
Now, I'm gonna talk about him when he was in the second movie, which was the best in my opinion and he looked really good. Puberty hit him so hard, harder than the train that killed him and his siblings. Okay, that's spoiler for the books right there, but anyways. Let's talk about the scene when he visited Miraz and his council to challenge him on a duel with Peter, his brother (now that I think about it, it was kind of a loser move for Peter. But if this scene didn't exist, i wouldn't be head over heels over Ed right now). I still don't know what made him look so good in that particular scene. Was it his dark hair? A pair of dark eyes? His sass? His cockiness? Or the fact that he had a few more inches....of height? I don't know, but hands down, it was his best scene.

The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. Third movie. The only narnia movie that I watched on the cinema. I still have mixed feelings on this movie. But of course, my feelings for Edmund on this movie isn't mixed at all. I saw a whole new side of Ed in this movie, and it was being a good brother. I never really saw it in previous movies, since Peter was there to take that role. But now that Peter wasn't really in the frame (he literally wasn't in most of the frames, I kid you not), Ed is the big brother now and he did such a good job, he makes me want to have my own older brother.
Also in this movie, Ed was really insecure, and in need to give proof to other people that he's more than what everyone thinks of him. Or at least on what he thought everyone thinks of him. All I wanna say is like, "Babe, you've made mistakes in the past, I know you regret it, you own up to all your mistakes and that's already an amazing thing to do. Also, don't compare yourself to other people. You're doing your own thing. You always see the good in other people, thats why Aslan gave you the title 'The Just' (I think). And you slayed that sea serpent in that movie, or did most of the thing (Actually, I'm not really sure, I need to watch the movie again). You already did more than your brothers (yes, in this household, we count Caspian as the 5th Pevensie). You fought your demons. I love you, but you know that already."
Edmund "Ed" Pevensie is my ultimate fictional crush. He was my first (fictional crush, gosh people, get your mind out of the gutter) and he gave me light in one of my darkest times.
